My first encounter with the organ was a momentous one, as I vividly recall hearing the organ’s majestic voice at the school’s opening ceremony. The thrill of that moment, both visually and aurally, has continued to invigorate me with every introduction to a new organ. I was fascinated by the deeper connection between J.S. Bach and the organ while I was a pianist. The curiosity of finding the right interpretation of his music drove me into this captivating world. Before long, I realized that the awe-inspiring nature of the organ extended far beyond the exuberant and the well-known compositions. It lay hidden in the tender and lesser-known pieces.
